In addi­tion to the produc­tion and sales head­quar­ters of the Swiss furni­ture manu­fac­turer Vitra, the site also houses a large collec­tion of design clas­sics, sculp­tures and archi­tec­tural master­pieces. A special high­light is the Vitra Schaudepot: a mono­lithic building with a window­less clinker facade and a simple gable roof that houses exhi­bi­tions, a design store and an inviting café.
