The research project investigates the recyclability of mattresses and provides an open source design guide for the production of recyclable mattresses. The project is still in the process phase and impresses with profound analysis, engagement with materials, and precise benchmarking of the current situation. The work shows in an accessible way where innovation is needed and how a higher recovery rate would be possible.
