The watering can «La Roue» was developed as part of a diploma thesis at the ZhdK. It makes watering plants easier for people with rheumatic complaints. This is possible thanks to a counterweight that balances the weight of the water in the can and thus allows a more comfortable use of the watering tool. With the solution presented, the project addresses two major trends: While our society is getting older and older and thus various physical ailments hinder everyday life, cultivating one's own garden is becoming increasingly important, especially in retirement age.
